  Gu Hana /CAST. Han Guru

  Hana has had a difficult life since childhood, taking on the responsibility of caring for her younger siblings after the death of her adoptive parents. While looking after Eun-chong, the son of her late friend Yujin, Chairman Shin of the Segye Group approaches her and claims to be her biological mother. After a brief period of happiness, Hana discovers that Chairman Shin is merely using her to protect Eun-chong. She also learns that Jin-gu, the man she had started to develop feelings for, is involved in this game of lies, and she sharpens her resolve for revenge against them all.

  As a child, Jin-gu received a life-saving heart transplant thanks to Chairman Shin and has since served as her loyal right-hand man. Following Chairman Shin's orders, he had been preparing to marry Se-young but encounters Hana. To protect Hana from possible harm, he devises the “fake daughter project,” but instead ends up hurting her feelings. Realizing his mistake, Jin-gu tries to genuinely protect Hana and Eun-chong, but by then, Hana is already determined to seek revenge.

She plots to eliminate Hana, but the tables turn when Hana returns, set on taking revenge against Chairman Shin’s family.
